Jason Connell:

Welcome to Just curious media. This is let's start Cobra Kai. I'm Jason Connell.

Sal Rodriguez:

And I'm Sal Rodriguez. Alright, so

Jason Connell:

this is going to be an incredible episode.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah. I mean, this is sort of the moment we've been waiting for. I mean, aside from the season itself, starting January 8 2021, aside from that actual beginning, this is what I was hoping for. I mean, just I wanted more, I needed more. I mean, we had the photographs the other day, we did a show on the photographs. So now we got an actual trailer. So big time excited to see this.

Jason Connell:

Absolutely. And let me just be clear, I hope this is a great episode. What we're talking about is incredible. I mean, this trailer that Netflix dropped yesterday. So it is hands down the greatest TV series trailer I've ever seen. Well, also

Sal Rodriguez:

we're emotionally invested in this thing. You know, I mean, I'm, I'm all in we're all in on this thing. No, I'm

Jason Connell:

being very unbiased in that assessment. How

Sal Rodriguez:

are you? You know, I believe I believe it. No, no, we're all in. I definitely want to say that to the listeners. I mean, we're not just commentators necessarily. I mean, we are emotionally invested in this show. At this point, we are definitely all in. And I think we're definitely at the FANBOY level. And that's a phrase I don't really use much. I've never considered myself a fanboy about anything in particular, but definitely consider myself a fanboy when it comes to Cobra Kai and karate kid at this point in time.

Jason Connell:

Absolutely. We both are for sure. But I am being serious. It is that good of a trailer. Netflix knows how popular this series is and has become. It is in rare company for how long it held the number one spot. And they worked on this and they crafted it and I mean, they let's bring in the creators of the show, the cast, the music, everything. This is first rate top notch. And it's as good as a lot of film trailers. I mean, it's that good. Rarely does something live up to the hype. As far as in my mind what a trailer could bring in evoke all these feelings. I can't watch this thing enough. And it's funny that you and I were super excited on Monday when the eight first look photos dropped. And we rushed in the studio and recorded an episode, which came out today. And it's out there now so we'd love you to listen to it. We break down each photo because sound I had no idea we were gonna get anything more for a while but I'm not going to complain unexpected. And this is just thrilling to see.

Sal Rodriguez:

Well when you think about it. Whether the photographs or the trailer. It's typical Cobra Kai Cobra Kai, I've experienced after watching two seasons, kind of go straight and then make a sharp turn all of a sudden, right? And so yeah, here we are for certain when you got the photographs, you're thinking, Okay, well, that's nice. And you're not necessarily thinking something else is going to drop two days later. You're not You're not thinking that at all. In fact, I was thinking this might be the only thing we're gonna get for a while, right? And then lo and behold, boom, sharp right turn. And now here we are with an official trailer.

Jason Connell:

Yeah, we didn't even get a chance to catch our breath after the photos, which were still really cool. And we covered them in depth, Sal and I went through each photo and dissected the littlest thing because it's all we had, we had eight photos, and we were super excited by that. But this is just like 1000 photos. And if we went through this entire trailer Sal and went beat by beat as we've done in these previous episodes during this, no Cobra Kai episodes, you and I have created this new kind of content for Cobra Kai, these cool Karate Kid Cobra Kai tie ends like, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia because there's references to the Karate Kid or How I Met Your Mother because ruff maggio and Williams aapko were on episodes or the Saturday Night Live, the karate teen or we dissected it like in depth and it's hilarious. And we highly recommend you check that episode out and all the others. But if we did that with this trailer of Sal, we could do an episode for two and a half hours. Because it's just so many talking points back it could probably be its own season. There's 1000 things to talk about. And it's just it's a bit overwhelming is what it is.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, it this can turn into a whole two hour episode.

Jason Connell:

Exactly. It would be very similar in length to our special episode of The Karate Kid, the Karate Kid, Part Two, The Karate Kid part three, which again, definitely check them out. They're well worth it. But that is dissecting a feature length movie. So rather than do that, we have decided to give you more of an audio version of the trailer. And so Sal and I are gonna run through everything, beat by beat, but just kind of experiencing it in a different way. Bring our enthusiasm to it, take you through it, and then we'll talk about things but we would be remiss if we didn't mention everything that's in there, but we had to do it this way just for the sheer sake of time. And we don't want to overwhelm our As nurse

Sal Rodriguez:

what not to mention once the show actually starts January 8, from then on. All of these scenes that we're talking about today in this trailer will just be scenes in the actual show. So everything that you see here in this trailer, we're going to eventually cover when we cover season three of Cobra Kai. Exactly. I just want to mention this. Jason, just a quick shout out to Netflix. Netflix has been around for a long time. And Cobra Kai is bringing me back to Netflix because what happened was, I was a subscriber to Netflix from the beginning. From the very beginning the DVD you Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. In fact, I even had the three DVD plan. And to me, I used to compare it to tossing frisbees back and forth. Because if I have three DVDs coming at me, I'm gonna want to grab a watch them, toss them back, grab them, watch them, toss it back. And it was like this tossing back and forth of the DVDs. So I've definitely been around the block with Netflix. So what happened was, though, there was a billing issue about a year ago, I don't know what it was, I don't know why, but for some reason, they couldn't dig my account, they couldn't charge me. And rather than rectify it, and keep going, I just said I just let it be. So here we are a year later, I haven't had Netflix for a year. And I do miss it. But not enough to start again. But now that Cobra Kai is on Netflix, I am going to subscribe to Netflix again. So Cobra Kai is bringing me back home to Netflix. Wow.

Jason Connell:

I'm sure they like hearing that. And I'm sure that is a popular theme with people too. If you have a number one show, it tends to bring new subscribers on board. And back to Netflix. Yes, I remember the subscription model the DVDs. In fact, it was such a thrill seeing my first film, documentary, strictly background become available on there. And I of course put it in my queue. And it showed up at home. And I kept one of them smile because I've wanted the leg sleeve that had their own little unique take on the movie that they wrote their own little synopsis. And I'm quite proud of that. And I have it in the old collection.

Sal Rodriguez:

Well, that's fun. That's something that I would do is put my own movie in my queue and then get it on DVD. That's totally something that I would do for

Jason Connell:

sure. Yeah, you would. You're a toy collector. And that's right up your alley for sure. Oh, yeah.

Sal Rodriguez:

Collect. All right, we're

Jason Connell:

gonna jump in. Try to keep up with the frenetic pace of the actual trailer sound. I will do our best.

Sal Rodriguez:

Jason, can I just ask you, did you watch this trailer on YouTube? Is that where you saw it? I did. Yes. Okay. Okay, so it is the Netflix channel on YouTube, which by the way is kind of meta seen as how Cobra Kai started on YouTube. So now we're watching the Netflix trailer back on YouTube.

Jason Connell:

To che Sal. And you're absolutely right it is. So the first 20 seconds or more of a recap of season one, season two some things sprinkled in there. So we're not going to get into that that's a given. But after that, we see the infamous Netflix logo come up. And we're in with an aerial shot of Los Angeles. And then we have Carmen and Rosa who are at Miguel Syed at the hospital because he's still in a coma or asleep. Now Johnny's in jail and it looks beat up kind of a call back to the Entertainment Weekly photo fallen fighter and was Johnny had blood dripping on his shirt as he's looking at Miguel in the hospital. And then you have Robbie getting handcuffed, which sounds a little bit like father like son there. And Samantha enters her now high security high school because after that huge fight and season two finale, that place is on lockdown. And then you have Tory counting some money. When it's Cobra Kai is facing Miyagi dough students at school in front of a new trophy case.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, then Daniel is talking to Johnny looks like Johnny's apartment complex. Daniel says the whole reason these kids got into trouble was because of us. We can't let them suffer because of our issues. The only way to end this is by working together. And then Daniel says, So what do you say and Johnny's about to react and then we cut to the next shot.

Jason Connell:

And now Miguel opens his eyes and it's straight out of a teaser trailer. And I also like to mention it a little bit of Jon Snow from Game of Thrones when he came back from the dead. And in a way to go Miguel. And Daniel enters the Cobra Kai dojo, and now we see an actual Cobra at the Cobra Kai dojo, which is insane, and I cannot wait to see that in more detail. And now there's a flashback of Kyler bullying Eli pre Hawk, and he's like, look at this freak. And now we're at the Cobra Kai dojo and Hawk spots. Kyler there. Oh my god. Kyler is back.

Sal Rodriguez:

And now we're in another scene at the Cobra Kai Dojo this time Daniel is walking through. And we hear Chris say, your enemies think they're the hero, and you're the villain. And then we see Chris leading the class and he tells his students there is no good. There is no bad, only weak. And then all of a sudden we're in some sort of car repair garage. And we hear Chris say or strong. And there's a fight happening in this garage.

Jason Connell:

Now Daniel and Johnny are at that car garage. And Johnny pushes Daniel out of the way and hits one of these guys just like these three huge guys in front of him and Then Amanda is on the phone with Daniel and Johnny and probably the funniest part of this whole trailer.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, I love these little humorous tidbits that always come out right now. Amanda says, What do you tango in cash and Johnny's over the speakerphone in the car? No Tango and Cash. We're narcotics detectives. And we also see Daniel reacting like Hello. And Amanda says, Oh, I'm sorry. You do realize neither of you are cops. Right.

Jason Connell:

Well done, Amanda. Well done. So now Daniel and Johnny are double teaming. The last guy at the garage let they pull like a Double Dragon thing and they both take him out where Daniel does a spinning heel kick to the guy's head, while Johnny does a Leg Sweep south. It's amazing. Oh, yeah. And next we have hawk and company in P E. And I can't tell if hawks walking in front of a bunch of Cobra guys or just guys that he's running with that day, not sure. And Dimitri on the field comes up, shoves hawk and then does a Leg Sweep, jumps up and stares at him. I have never seen Dimitri. Look this menacing, Sal?

Sal Rodriguez:

No, Dimitri has flipped the script. That's what he's done big time.

Jason Connell:

So now Robbie gets beat up by multiple guys in jail. So he's tough, but it's a lot of guys coming at him. And then Sam, flip someone and then Tory enters a nightclub? I don't know what's going on.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah. And then Sam is talking to her dad. She says I thought we were the good guys. And then we hear Daniel say we try to be the one thing I do know for sure. Daniel says, You can't run away from your problems.

Jason Connell:

Now we see Daniel and Sam swinging staffs at the home dojo, and they kind of finish a move and they both look up and smile, which is cool, because I've never seen them trained together in there as far as I can remember, unless it was like a callback to young Sam. When she was trained in martial arts before she took a hiatus and then Johnny visits with an alert Miguel at the hospital.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, and we hear Miguel say, I might never be able. And Johnny says quiet. Never can't. Those are just words. They're meaningless. I like it. I like it. No excuses.

Jason Connell:

Now Amanda enters that Cobra Kai dojo, and crease looks at her and he's got this towel around his neck and that typical crease look and Amanda slaps him.

Sal Rodriguez:

Oh, that slap was epic. I freeze framed on that slap, unreal. And then we see on the screen it says forget old acquaintances.

Jason Connell:

And now we have Johnny entering Cobra Kai dojo, and then Sam faces Tori at Miyagi dough dojo, Robbie's bleeding. His head is being held down in jail by an officer and Johnny the Cobra. Kai Dojo kicks a door in

Sal Rodriguez:

and now it says on the screen, and kickstart 2021. So there's a whole new year's theme happening here. And we hear Johnny say, You're not a kid anymore. The world isn't just going to hand it to you.

Jason Connell:

And then Miguel fights in a tournament which looks kind of like a flashback to all Valley but it could be the future we don't know yet. And then Miguel in the hospital bed, stares at his feet, almost summoning them to work. And Robbie with bruises on his face appears to meet with crease.

Sal Rodriguez:

And then Johnny says you want something you're going to have to crawl across the floor. Use your damn teeth if you had to. And then it says on the screen, like a total badass so

Jason Connell:

funny. And now Miguel does sit ups while holding a pony keg. And I bet you that's Coors banquet in there. All the while Johnny pours a beer into his red solo cup, as well as on McGill's face. And then Johnny lifts Miguel off the ground. And then Johnny Miguel embrace. It's very touching. And this reveals some sort of harness that's attached to Miguel holding him up.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, very tender moment. We hear Johnny say to Miguel, and I'm always going to be right here next to you. And I'll always be your teacher. Very tender moment here with Sensei and student. Miguel says, Okay. And from his hospital bed. He reaches for a table, he wipes out. And then Johnny says, shit. It's all right. You felt like a champ. I love that. It's the humor of Cobra Kai. I'd forgotten about

Jason Connell:

so good. So now we have an aerial shot of Japan. Maybe it's Hawaii. We'll find out later. Daniel is looking very sad. There's a photo of Mr. Miyagi and Daniel on a cell phone. Then there's a smiling Kumiko Sal, amazing, and now Daniel is looking very disturbed. And then there's an angry chosen. And of course, what comes next Daniel unchosen in full GIS spar and a beautiful dojo.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, we're gonna find out how they wound up here. But we hear Daniel say, Mr. Miyagi told me everything he knew. And chosen says, let's find out. And then we see on the screen Cobra Kai season three new year.

Jason Connell:

As if that's not enough, we cut to Dee Snider from Twisted Sister on stage. And now we see Miguel in a wheelchair and Johnny and they both have beers or what appear to be beers. And then Johnny is in a white sports jacket? Looking like the money, an incredible look, but it's hit a wedding.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, well, these are quick cuts. That's why you got to speculate on each scene. Very fast editing, just enough to whet our palate and get us chomping at the bit for the next season. And then it says on the screen, new season coming January, only on Netflix. Wow.

Jason Connell:

How many times have you watched this already?

Sal Rodriguez:

today? What would come out today? Yesterday? Yesterday, yesterday. Okay, see the days blur together? I've seen this no less than seven times. I would say about seven times.

Jason Connell:

I shoot it about three or four times. That's to this point.

Sal Rodriguez:

I'm not done. After we record I'm still gonna watch.

Jason Connell:

Fair enough. Yeah, so this is everything I'd hoped for. I don't even need any other teaser. We're a month away from the show to drop. If you have to get reminded. Just listen to an episode of Let's Talk Cobra Kai, or just watch this trailer again or revisit the eight photos because we're primed already. We have Christmas to look forward to. We have New Year's, and then we have Cobra Kai season three.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, I'm ready. And by the way, I'm going to even get readier because right before season three drops. I'm going to watch Cobra Kai season one, Cobra Kai Season Two. I've already listened to our podcast recently, only recently that I go through our entire library of podcasts. I did some road tripping and my road tripping. Mo is to listen to podcast namely hours. Although I have been enjoying some other Cobra Kai podcast. Yeah, I've definitely been enjoying some so for you. Other fellow Cobra Kai podcasters. I hear you. I'm listening. Definitely I happen to be a part of the club. So yeah, this is a wonderful time. This is a time of anticipation. And I definitely believe we need this right now when I say we I mean America, I mean the world. We need season three right now.

Jason Connell:

Cobra Kai can save the world. But you bring up a good point. And I also want to give a shout out to any and every one doing Cobra Kai podcast, because there's a lot of people out there doing it now. And I always say the more the merrier. The more people talking about this incredible show and legacy to the Karate Kid, the better for everybody. You can be a fan of our show and still love all the other shows. Everyone has their own flavor. And we don't discriminate. We don't put anyone else down. We embrace it. And we're just happy to be in the club.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, cuz I think when it comes to podcasts, one thing that I've learned and have observed are really any internet content is it all boils down to style, you know, so you may have a certain style you like more than others. I'll tell you I listened to a couple of podcasts are doing a Cobra Kai podcast. Not exactly my style. But you know what? I was laughing my ass off these hosts. I was busting up I was driving along listening to the dare Cobra Kai podcast busting up. So I definitely am starting to become a fan of other content. It's another style. It's another rhythm, different pacing, different synergy between the hosts. But you know what? You liked this you liked that you listen here you listen there, whatever. We're all on the same team. We all love Cobra Kai and Karate Kid.

Jason Connell:

Absolutely. And so a couple of things we could talk about in this episode was we just did it. We've never done that before. That was a first that was a lot of fun to run through the entire trailer that way in regards to what we just saw some takeaways I had the music in this is huge. And being a fellow filmmaker, I understand the power of music and needle drops have and whoever created this score, great job. I mean, the original Karate Kid movies all had outstanding music by the legendary Bill Conti. So it is definitely always a part of the folklore of this franchise. But whoever's making the music now maybe it's worth going after them to get on the podcast, like everyone else like writers and whoever else behind the scenes we haven't talked to yet, but it's wonderful. And there's even a moment in this. When the text came on screen it says forget all acquaintances. They tide in that old classic Scott song that Auld Lang Syne. Like times long past should all acquaintances be forgot. You know that song?

Sal Rodriguez:

Oh, yeah, well, that

Jason Connell:

is in the song. It's perfect. It's the little nuances that just take something to another level, that moment, and the trailer does hit me hard. And then he hugs Miguel. And it's like, oh my gosh, they're hitting all the levels that got the umur they've got the heart. That's why this thing has legs man, and I can't wait to see where we go far beyond season 345. Maybe there's more movies. Maybe they're spin offs. Who knows?

Sal Rodriguez:

Oh, yeah, very excited. I like what they did. I liked that they tied it in with the new year because believe me, I don't think ever, at least in my lifetime, have we ever looked forward to a new year as much as we are getting out of 2020 and getting into 2021. And all of us being optimistic about 2021 being a better year.

Jason Connell:

Yeah. Well, I mean, the bar is pretty low. No, you're absolutely right. And it's kind of funny to think that Cobra Kai season three is like Christmas show all of a sudden, right. It's kind of a Christmassy thing. Much like Die Hard being considered a Christmas movie. And let me take it one step further. We are recording diehard for our next let's talk movies that will be dropping this month. Oh, yeah.

Sal Rodriguez:

I look forward to hearing that. Well, anyway.

Jason Connell:

I mean, we could go over more on this, but I think that I'm over the moon about this trailer, I can already just tell how good the show's gonna be to bring back can Miko I mean? Did you ever think that was gonna happen? Sal?

Sal Rodriguez:

No, no, no. And as you and I have discussed in multiple podcasts, whether we're doing the movies, Karate Kid or the show, Cobra Kai, how much I love karate kid too. And how I've always imagined the romance between Daniel and Kumiko was greater and deeper than the romance between Daniel and Ali. To me, Daniel and Kumiko has more meaning and his broader and his deeper. So when I see Kumiko is face holy cow. I'm just wondering, how is Daniel going to balance this, how he's going to manage this? We know he's a married man, a happily married man. We know he loves his wife. But meanwhile, he's going back to Okinawa, and seeing one of his great loves face to face. I am dying to see how he handles this.

Jason Connell:

I am to it. I just hope for the sake of his relationship with Amanda, that there is no tea ceremony. Oh,

Sal Rodriguez:

well, hello, how about he goes to Okinawa and does a tea ceremony with Amanda holy cow.

Jason Connell:

Okay, that's okay, that's fine. And Dan is a good guy. He's a straight arrow. He's loyal to Amanda. And so that's not gonna happen. But just to see them connect his friends. Just wonderful to see. And you actually make a great point. I agree with you. His relationship with Kimiko was more mature, he was older. It was life and death. It was a whole other thing. And sometimes at first love, you have to get that out of your system. And then you meet someone and you go to the next level. And Daniel even talked about this on Cobra Kai, when he was talking to Samantha one time about relationships. It's like, you know, it takes that one to get to the next one. And then I met your mother. So yeah, I think even rates them. Ali wasn't number one. She was replaced by Kimiko. And I'm sure Camilla was replaced by well, not the girl from the third karate kid because that was a platonic relationship. Yes. So but there was another girl and his life that we don't know about yet. And then probably he meets Amanda years later. So you're right. Absolutely. It was a deeper bond for sure.

Sal Rodriguez:

My main takeaway from this and unfortunately, it's kind of sad. It's kind of sad to say this and to come to this conclusion. But when you watch this trailer, I think that you have to take away that Miguel is going to be in a wheelchair. I think that's what it looks like. I mean, he's there at a concert. Everyone else is standing up, by the way. D Schneider Twisted Sister, everyone's at this concert. And Miguel is seated or he can't get up or he's in a wheelchair. Yeah, I think that we're unfortunately gonna see Miguel, possibly stuck in a wheelchair at least for the season. In fact, I'm willing to bet $20

Jason Connell:

Well, I'm not going to take that bet. I will say this, I believe Miguel will walk again. Because what you don't know about a warrior is sorry, he'll call back to the karate team. No, I think that he would overcome anything. If he has the ability to sow they may just say that's it, but you wouldn't see them work this hard if it wasn't possible. And that leads me to believe there'll be a time and place that he will overcome it and he'll be back in the dojo training.

Sal Rodriguez:

Well then I hope we don't have to wait until season four. I hope that there is that resolution and season three then I would love to see Miguel walk again in season three otherwise we're gonna have to wait until when when the hell is season four gonna come out.

Jason Connell:

My belief is that next I think I said summer and you are pushing for fall. But I believe season four will come out next summer. They're going to capitalize again off all the goodwill of you know, this January release of season three, which has been in the can for a while and they're itching to probably get four out there. So they're gonna come in and sweep up Netflix is on their subscriptions and their number one placement in January and hopefully into February and March. And they're going to come back in the summer or fall and clean up again. They've got themselves a gold mine here with Cobra Kai. Just my bed.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, yeah. I think it's an exciting time for Cobra Kai. But also for Netflix. I think the CES, I think takes Netflix to another level. I mean, Netflix, obviously is already huge. You know, it's historic. But I actually think that Cobra Kai Season Three takes Netflix to the next level.

Jason Connell:

Game Changer. Yeah. So I have to mention one more thing, because it's something kind of close to my heart. And it's the fact that we get to see Daniel and Johnny working together. I can't tell you how exciting that makes me feel to see them bond in that episode of Cobra Kai, where they went to the bar. He took Johnny to the South Seas apartment where he grew up. And just that episode, I got super excited to see these two on the same side. And then of course, we know what happened. And oh, yeah, they even went to dinner that time with Amanda and Carmen. So I just thought, Oh, these guys can become buddies. And then of course, we know, it went south. But now they have common interests aligned, and they have to come together to fight crease. And that's thrilling to me, Sal.

Sal Rodriguez:

Well, it's one of those things where a want becomes a need before it was like, Well, should we get together? Do you want to get together? Do you want to make peace? Now it's like, we have to we need to work together. So it's next level in their relationship and you know, it's no longer an option, then them working together is no longer an option. It's something that they have to do, because now other lives are at stake other people's futures other people's physical health is now at stake. So these guys need to bridge the gap, starting with themselves, and then their respective schools of Cobra Kai and Miyagi dough.

Jason Connell:

Exactly. And these guys work together so well, yeah, they're great enemies, but I think they're better buddies. This is why movies like Tango and Cash work. I love that call back to the 1989. Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell film, of course, it works because they kind of get on each other's nerves. They're always busting each other's chops, but then they work together and they solve something. Cop buddy movies, work lethal weapons to whatever these guys are that if nothing else, Daniel and Johnny could have their own movies, they could just become the next whatever. They're that entertaining as a duo. So I really want to see if they stay together. And then is it going up against like, crease? Do we bring back Terry silver? Do we just bringing in bad guys and it's that type of situation? We don't know. But I'm really excited to find out.

Sal Rodriguez:

Well, I'm also looking forward to the older Johnny and Daniel action figures because you know, the action figures that have been released the toy action figures that have been released of karate kid. And subsequently Cobra Kai, you know, by relation are the young versions of Daniel and Johnny. Now just as a point of reference, we have the terminator of which we just did a let's talk movies Terminator episode, which I am proud to have been a part of. So the action figures from the Terminator have feature a younger Arnold, a younger Linda Hamilton. But we have had some recent Terminator movies with an older Arnold with an older Linda. And guess what they came out with some newer action figures that feature their older versions. So I would love to see the older Johnny and Daniel action figures. Come on guys, we want to see these.

Jason Connell:

Yeah, they have to be coming because I'm assuming that Cobra Kai is going to have action figures coming out like Miguel and Samantha and Hawk with his spike tear and Dimitri and Robbie in the whole bit. So it's a matter of time till they catch them up. And they're older selves. But I also think that NECA can be coming out with a Tango and Cash,

Sal Rodriguez:

you know, that is something that they would do because this company NECA does do a lot of older content. They'll come out with new releases from older movies and actually a Tango and Cash two pack would totally be up their alley and will be something that the collectors would eat up. So believe me all all of us toy collectors are chomping at the bit for whatever wonderful properties are ready to be released and will be hopefully on the shelves at Target Walmart are actually Walgreens you know, Walgreens is a good place to pick up toy action figures as well.

Jason Connell:

So that is it. What an incredible trailer. So fun to talk about it with you Sal and share it with our audience. And it's just kind of put me at ease. I'm calm now. And more ready than ever for the next season. I'm in a Zen state. I got what I needed to get me there.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, it kind of makes it real. Otherwise, we're sitting here like, wow, we're waiting on the season. We're waiting on the season. And now they gave us something where we can go ah, there it is. And it's only a matter of time. Not much time now less than a month away. Yeah. So So yeah, it just really made it real for me.

Jason Connell:

Absolutely. So as we lead up to season three, we have some really great episodes coming up including some Interviews.

Sal Rodriguez:

Oh big time excited about these interviews we already have done one. Griffin Santo Pietro who plays Anthony Russo. We got Daniel son on the let's talk Cobra Kai podcast, very excited about that. And we are talking to some other people. So be I think before the end of the year most likely, or at least by by the time season three drops. We're going to have at least a one or two other interviews on the let's talk Cobra Kai podcast, very excited about that. So
