Alright, so we are back for a quick announcement episode. And I sound kind of different.

This is true. This is true. So this is our usual Cobra Kai Season Five announcement, which tells our fans, viewers, listeners, all of you, when our episodes will be dropping of the new season of Cobra Kai.

That's very nice of you to do this. Jason. It really is. A you know, I try. Yeah, because I just be like, listen, they'll get the episodes when they get the episodes goddamnit.

I know. But since we've done it before, we have a precedent. I figured why not? And honestly, if things weren't as they are right now, so they probably would be getting their first episode this Wednesday, per usual. But I wanted to update them. Because that's not the case. I

know you're going through a major shift, a major transition. I mean, I think it's big time huge and exciting what you're doing right now.

Jason Connell: 5:09:47

Well, I appreciate that. So to let everyone else in. I'm actually literally in the midst of a move. We purchased a home just recently, we closed in just a day or so. And we move in this week. And all of this is happening in the midst of Cobra Kai season five and so of course the NFL season is now Yeah, well I thought about it. I was watching lots of games. My team won a close game Nailbiter go commanders, but I was watching other games. It's like this is crazy what's happening now. And for some people are like, wait a second, didn't you just move to the East Coast. And that's true. It's true. I moved here over a year just over a year ago. And we're just outside Boston, you know, in a suburb right there in Massachusetts. We love it. But we have been house hunting. We've just leased you know, a place wonderful house for a year and have been looking to you know, we're going to be in this town. We love doing them. We've gone on trips up and down the coast and out of nowhere salad right before our trip to LA, we stumbled into our dream home and secured it and it is in Rhode Island. And we couldn't be more excited. But it creates another move itself. Hopefully this move is a permanent one, or at least more permanent than in my history. And goes,

I'll tell you this, Jason, after looking at a few pictures of your new home, it's not just your dream home, it's my dream home.

Or you can come visit us anytime, brother, we just want to be in the house now. So literally my home Currently I'm in the office. Now it's not an office, it's just boxes on my studios box set up, it's like we are so ready to transition. And then we got to get in there. Gotta unpack sure and get the studio back up and running. But you and I will be recording in just a few days time. So this is just a little life thing that slows us down just a beat. But again, couldn't be more thrilled. And I was just quickly on the note of moving. I was on a walk with Sophia earlier this thinking Let me go back. And as long as I've known Sal, let's think about the moves I've made. Met SAP. Yes. I went back to oh five when we met. Yeah. And was thinking of all the places because in LA same thing. I was like, in one place for a year another year, I finally bought a house and I was there for you know more time. But leading up to that and even after that. So let's go from oh five until now to this new move. Sal, I met 11 Thank you, you're still on one

place. I have lived in the same apartment for 25 years. And what's funny is when you tell people that it's not like a marriage, when you tell people you've been in a marriage for 25 years, you get applause you know, you tell people you've been in an apartment for 25 years. They're like, are you okay? Yeah, no, I know this California mortgages are high. I know. I

know. So I'm so happy to pull a Sal Rodriguez on this next home. Just stay put. So you and I are in studio apart. But together. In a few days after I get situated. The plan is for our first episode covering Cobra Kai to drop next Wednesday, the 21st. Yeah. And then after that weekly, bang, bang, bang, bang bang. So we'll be right back in our rhythm. It just happened that this really odd time. Of course, that's how things happen in life, but we won't miss a beat. And so I just have to ask, have you finished the season?

No, I'm up to episode four. Four and then we got a little sidetracked with some other projects. But I will be though what's today Monday? Yes. Yeah, I think within a couple of days. He's it'll be done. And by the way, just to be absolutely clear, and I've said this before on previous seasons, I would love to, you know, watch a few episodes and take a little break, watch a few take a little break. But the problem is the spoilers, man, the spoilers are out there like like landmines everywhere. So as much as I would love to savor the season and prolong that Cobra Kai feeling, unfortunately, I'm just gonna bust through it because I don't want to get those damn spoilers. You know,

that's how I feel. So I did my usual thing. This is becoming my usual, three episodes, the first night of drop Friday night, for the next night. And then I do three again, and I did it this year. We finished it last night. I'm so glad I did. It's a lot. I break it up a little bit. You know, I wait till the evening. I just do like three or four, three in a row. So happy it's done. You will not get these spoilers from me. Don't worry, I'll let you get there. But by the time we go into studio, I'm assuming you will have seen all 10

Absolutely. Yeah, I will. Like I said not that I would prefer it that way. But it just has to be that way because of the way our society is now. So what the damn spoilers

I know. And I will be jumping back in for notes on this next visit. And I want to give a quick shout out to a super fan of ours, Kosta Dino's. Oh yes, he is now a contributor. Ah, he is helping us with like, outline and a few basic notes. So we go back in and put our notes in there. I was looking to have more contributors help out the show with all the other shows that I have in the pipeline not to mention this move.
