Jason Connell:

Welcome to Just curious media. This is let's talk Cobra Kai. I'm Jason Connell.

Sal Rodriguez:

And I'm Sal Rodriguez.

Jason Connell:

All right, Sal, we are back for another fan appreciation show volume three.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah. Well, we have too much fan appreciation. Now. We got to split it up. Now even more. I mean, I didn't think we were gonna have to do when I say have to. I mean, it's a pleasure. But I mean, I didn't know we would have this much engagement with our listeners to necessitate or warrant another fan appreciation episode, but apparently we do.

Jason Connell:

Yeah, I would say this is a good problem to have. Yes, exactly. quality problems. So today on our fan appreciation episode, volume three, we're going to be giving shout outs and really recognizing our Patreon supporters, which have grown 50% growth sell from last time, as well as our apple podcast five star reviews.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yes, fantastic. So much fun to talk about and to see you know, every time a new review pops up, always nice to see Always a pleasure.

Jason Connell:

Maybe this is leading towards as the world opens back up, fingers crossed. In the future. Sal, just imagine you and I live recording of Let's Talk Cobra Kai, with our fans.

Sal Rodriguez:

Well, I envision the comic con panel.

Jason Connell:

Yeah. How wonderful would that be us to moderate something with various cast and crew from Cobra Kai?

Sal Rodriguez:

Well, that's a whole nother story. Now you have the let's talk, Cobra Kai panel. And then we have Yes, you and I are doing a q&a moderating. I think that would be fantastic.

Jason Connell:

I do too. I can see it now. But for now, let's focus on this episode. And our Patreon supporters are as follows. The original Patreon supporter, of course, was Lindsey Bebout. And she joined March 28 2021. Super shout out to Lindsey mega fan couldn't be happier for her to kind of break the seal on our Patreon supporters. So because I had forgotten about it, we had mentioned it the first couple of seasons and the very end tag of the show, but there was no traction and I didn't even really know what Patreon was. And then Lindsey comes along and makes it something.

Sal Rodriguez:

Well, Lindsey has been here since March 28. Where are we now? into June? Yeah. She's been with us for several months. Yeah, she's been around longer than some of my relationships. So thank you, Lindsay.

Jason Connell:

And so next up and our newest Patreon supporter, is Jason Kersey, who joined April 28 2021. So welcome aboard, Jason, super happy to have you. He's been really good on engagement on messaging me as well as Lindsay has. So us, I should say us, but I definitely do the correspondence. And yeah, just delight. It's really just got me thinking Sal, like, wow, we probably need to promote this more.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, you know, it's something that I noticed that people that have Patreon, sometimes they'll talk about it, sometimes they don't sometimes they plug it sometimes they don't. I think it's something that you need to let people know about early. And often, as they say,

Jason Connell:

I agree. And we're probably gonna put more behind it. There's a lot of things happening in the podcast space, you know, Apple podcast is rolling out this new thing for exclusive premium content. And so podcasters can charge fans X for special things. And so, so much is changing. And we're still sponsor free at this point in time. So it's such a blue ocean of podcasters. And content, we're very fortunate enough to have fans. So now it's time to circle back around, maybe have some special nuggets out. We're talking about making special things, exclusive things for people who are supporting the show and, and so we're now just kind of getting going in that regard. And it's super exciting.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, one of those things where if you become a supporter, regular supporter of the show, you get access to all kinds of wonderful things behind the scenes stuff, maybe some video, maybe you get to see what we look like for once. Yeah, exactly. We

Jason Connell:

might have some special videos coming in. Who knows there could be live stream episodes. Like there's a lot of things in development. Not to mention, we're developing all these other shows. So but this is definitely in the works. But currently on Patreon, we have three levels. So do you want to go ahead and say what they are? Yeah, I

Sal Rodriguez:

love these levels. And this was you the thought of this and very excited about this. The levels of Patreon are strike first, strike hard and no mercy. Three different levels. It does seem quite fitting so yeah, it's absolutely perfect big smile when I first saw this.

Jason Connell:

And so we're not gonna get into everything on there. If you know what Patreon is. It's patreon.com Look up. Let's talk Cobra Kai. They're gonna evolve right now, these are relatively small, but it's like a monthly stipend and you can pick whatever level you want. Trust me, folks, they're not that high. I mean, the highest one no mercy is higher than the other two. But as we put more energy and emphasis behind this, these levels will be more flushed out there might even be more level so there could be some special levels. Who knows?

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah. It all depends on how much engagement you'd like. Obviously, the higher the levels, the more engagement, the more access you get. So you know, support as you see fit. And as you so desire.

Jason Connell:

Yeah, remember when we were talking about having maybe a fan on the show, and maybe that's a crazy level, you know, hey, support here, and you come on the show with monthly updates. I mean, who knows, we want to make it fun and interesting and engaging. And we couldn't be more excited to be connected to our fan base. And for those that Patreon is there's too much it's like, I don't want to join another thing to support. So I get it, trust me, you're always asked to join something and give your email and make a password and yada yada yada. Well, if you're just looking to help us in other ways, join us for on a monthly stipend or a one off, who knows 10 bucks, 20 bucks, you can always Venmo or PayPal us and we would still honor the levels that we're going to do. So that's out there for you. There's no show Venmo yet, but my Venmo matches my social media, which is just Mr. Jason Connell. It's on all the stuff with let's talk Cobra Kai, and the PayPal is info at just curious media.com. So if anybody just wants to help and donate that way, great and will still honor any and every level that we have.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, and you know what, not just money you can send us Coors banquet. Send us a couple of cases. It's true. That's very true. Send us a case of MacAllan 18 Whatever Daniels drinking when he heads back to Okinawa, send us over a case of Japanese whiskey. Just support the show for crying out loud.

Jason Connell:

Yeah, exactly. So again, thank you, Lindsay and Jason, and hopefully many more Patreon supporters.

Sal Rodriguez:

Thank you, Jason. And thank you, Lindsay.

Jason Connell:

Very good sell. And now we're gonna segue into the apple podcast reviews. And this is from April 2021, to May 2021. So so we had just wrapped up all the way through March. We haven't had any in May. But we had a couple pop up in April five star reviews on Apple podcast. And we'll go through them. As we do. We'll ping pong back and forth. And then after we get to these two, we have three more that are kind of special, which we'll get into when we get there.

Sal Rodriguez:

Oh, yeah. But these ones are about let's talk Cobra Kai specific. Not mentioning any other shows. Right?

Jason Connell:

Correct. So the first one is from our in Jennifer to one seven. Subject line. Very entertaining. Great start. Found the podcast while driving home to Florida from Pennsylvania kept me entertained for the entire trip. One of the best great job

Sal Rodriguez:

fantastic. I'm gonna assume the RN is maybe for registered nurse. I wonder the registered nurse Jennifer 217. I love the thought of somebody driving for miles putting in those miles on the road and listening to Let's Talk Cobra Kai, that makes me very, very happy.

Jason Connell:

I totally agree. And that's a pretty good distance right there. And yeah, I want to know our agenda for to one seven. How far Jamaica it did you make it through season one, season two, did you tap into the special episodes of season three? I really would love to know. But most importantly, are in Jennifer to one seven. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, not only for being a fan, but for also taking the time to leave this wonderful review on Apple podcast.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, and I love that very entertaining. Because in the end, you know, we try to make the show many things in the show as many things but in the end, it's entertainment. So she comes right out of the gate very entertaining. So I really appreciate that.

Jason Connell:

Thank you. Yes, absolutely.

Sal Rodriguez:

Next up guard girl. 0004 Interesting name starts out a fan. And then it says like that. Yeah, a fan. Look forward to every show. Great job. referred it to other Cobra Kai fans as well. Keep up the good work. Thank you guard girl. 0004. And I love that she's selling us to her friends. You know, she is like an ambassador now at this point. telling other Cobra Kai fans about our podcast. Thank you.

Jason Connell:

There's nothing better than your own fans who love the show. And they're promoting it for you. I mean, really, Sal? That's huge. Yeah,

Sal Rodriguez:

and see Jason This is why I always say we need merch. We need merch. Jason I just want to shoot out some T shirts out of a cannon that's what I'd like to die a potato cannon? Yes, that's what I'd like to do. I want to I want to shoot out the merch.

Jason Connell:

We'll do that at our live taping our live podcast event later this year or next? Guard girl 0004 Thank you so much. Really kind to be promoting the show love that you're a fan and again, took the time to write a review. I'm a huge fan of podcast style. I don't recall ever leaving an apple podcast review so I gotta get on it. I'm asking people to do it. I've now have to get on it while my favorite shows. Yeah, you

Sal Rodriguez:

know what? I'm no different. You know, I have a lot of people. For example, I subscribe to on YouTube and I always got to remember click though. likes leave comments, I got to remind myself, you know, because that creates the engagement, which affects the algorithm. So, yeah, the more engagement you give your favorite shows, podcasts or YouTube videos, whatever it is, the more engagement you offer it, it affects the algorithm. And it benefits the people that run the show. Absolutely, yes.

Jason Connell:

Now I do five star ratings on my favorite podcasts. And again, I want to encourage each and every one of you just to click that button, it's so fast five star helps us sell we're up to 110 ratings, we're holding a 4.8, which is wonderful. But the more five star we get, we hold that or hopefully even climb back up. But holding a five o with over 100, or however many radians is really tough, you're inevitably you're gonna get someone who, let's just say so you get some haters out there. Maybe they're part of another show. Or maybe they're just doing it. It's also easy to accidentally hit a one I've noticed. Yeah, you really could go there and be like, Oh, crap. So I mean, that can happen with the way they do it with the ratings on Apple

Sal Rodriguez:

podcasts. So we'll wait, Jason, if you accidentally hit a one. Can you change it?

Jason Connell:

I'm assuming they only let a device you know that IP have one vote. Otherwise, you could just go bonkers with it. Right? So yeah, so be careful fans. And yeah, so that's climbing as well. Super excited to see. So yeah, this covers are too new. It's only been a short while. I'm sure when we give more time. We'll collect more. And we love them. We really do these reviews are absolutely wonderful. But we have something special in store. So

Sal Rodriguez:

really, what do we Is this something you haven't told me about?

Jason Connell:

Yes, well, we kind of talked about a little bit, but let me just enlighten you and the audience at the same time. So there are three more apple podcasts five star reviews we're gonna cover but these were all on our that's a crime podcasts, our new show, our new show we're super proud of we've recently dropped our fourth episode more to come. It's a wonderfully engaging, True Crime Podcast coming out on a weekly basis. At least now we're in season one. But the reason I want to do these three, which is amazing to have three, the show dropped may 12. And these reviews are up to May 31. So that's not that long of a span. However, they were all from let's talk Cobra Kai fans. And they referenced that in the review. So I felt it was very appropriate to share it here.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah. And you know what, that shows a lot of dedication, because it's one thing, let's say you follow a musical group or a singer. And let's say that they're r&b and you love them, and they're r&b and everything's great. And then all of a sudden, they dropped their new album in this country. And you're like, what, I'm not gonna listen to that. But the true fan goes, You know what, I love this artists. And I'm gonna go ahead and listen to this country album, even though country may not even be my thing. That's kind of like, let's face it. So you and I drop another show having nothing to do with Cobra Kai, or anything in the martial arts universe at all,

Jason Connell:

unless there's a martial arts crime. So I mean, that could happen. There was a guy

Sal Rodriguez:

with some sort of a samurai sword in Japan on the street. We can talk about that at some point. But yeah, we drop a brand new show on a totally different topic. And we're like, well, let's see what happens. Hopefully, people will like it. And you know what, the engagement has been great. And the feedback has been fantastic.

Jason Connell:

Absolutely. are holding a 5.0 rating with seven reviews. So I know that doesn't sound like much. But seven and a couple of weeks is pretty good. Three reviews is pretty good. So I'm very impressed with the engagement. And they're not all let's talk Cobra Kai fans, but our fans of this show have come over. They've given us a jumpstart. And that's a wonderful thing that a new show has we didn't have that luxury. When we started. Let's talk Cobra Kai,

Sal Rodriguez:

we were asking people to give us a chance. Now we're asking people who we've already proven ourselves to to give us another chance.

Jason Connell:

Exactly. Okay, so now let's get into the reviews. The first one is from Jimmy Bagwell. And it starts with dynamic duo. Ooh, I like that. So

Sal Rodriguez:

Batman reference.

Jason Connell:

Super excited about Jason and Sal's new podcast. These two are the best of the best. I drive and listen to podcast all day. Let's talk Cobra Kai is the one I look forward to the most.

Sal Rodriguez:

Fantastic. Thank you, Jimmy what Jimmy saying is we're the best.

Jason Connell:

And there was also the best of the best martial arts movie had Chris Penn in it. Yeah, I remember that. And Eric Roberts among others. Yeah, very cool. Jimmy, I love that you've come over and engaged in that crime. And I love the fact that you're just a fan of ours. And that's awesome, man. Really, really I showed this to a few friends and I thought this was a wonderful review. So kudos, Jimmy. Thank you.

Sal Rodriguez:

Thanks, Jimmy. And our next one is from Hollywood 123456780 Some double exclamation mark. This podcast combines two of my favorite things. The hosts of the let's talk Cobra Kai podcast and true crime. Jason and Sal are great storytellers. And I really enjoy their podcasts. You will not be disappointed. Wow, it's fantastic. These people are doing commercials for us. Thank you Hollywood. 12345678 I feel funny saying that. That's a long one. Thank you.

Jason Connell:

Yes, Hollywood that is awesome. Really, uh, to your favorite things. Let's talk Cobra Kai podcast, and true crime. Yeah, that's what we were trying to do the sandwich those wonderful things together. I love it. That's wonderful comment really touches me. And yeah, awesome sound. Your title says it all

Sal Rodriguez:

a great commercial for us. And I almost feel like we can start another podcast on I don't know what, drywall, just anything. And we have dedicated listeners. So thank you, that makes me feel very special. Thank you.

Jason Connell:

There are more shows and development. But let's just ease into that. All right, and the last one is from JC G Jr. to four now. So I do recognize this name, our moniker or handle. And this is the first person I recognize it's left to Apple podcasts. five star reviews.

Sal Rodriguez:

Oh, I got it. So one on Let's Talk Cobra Kai and one on that subscribe. Exactly.

Jason Connell:

So the subject for this one. I will follow these guys anywhere. Love it already. I have to be honest, true crime isn't my go to genre for podcast. But Jason and Sal are my go to guys. Period. I will support whatever you gentlemen put out. Thanks for more content. And Sal,

Sal Rodriguez:

no mercy. Yeah, this is great. You know what, this really gives me a lot of warm feelings. And luckily, I'm at a point in life where I could take compliments and kudos. This is really special. Because you know, this was Jason's idea to start another podcast because he liked our chemistry. The reception has been good from our listeners. So we thought let's do another podcast. And I was reluctant just because I thought, well, what can we do this as good as the show? And and yeah, I think we're doing a great job. I'm proud of everything we've done so far. Let's talk Cobra Kai, and that's a crime. And also my guests ship on your other show, Jason, in which you host and have the occasional guests. Let's talk movies. We just released American Gigolo. Yeah, most recently. Yeah, that was a lot of fun to listen to. So yeah, wonderful things happening with just curious media. Yeah. Well, it's

Jason Connell:

also fun to record with it. Oh, yeah, definitely.

Sal Rodriguez:

I mean, I believe me, Jason, I'm the first person to tell you, I would not be here if I were not having a good time.

Jason Connell:

And back to you, JC G Jr. to four. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Really, I remember your review on Let's Talk Cobra Kai, I believe it was the one about driving around with kids in the car. And a lot of podcasts are snarky or dirty. And I believe that was the one. And that was well said, well written and touched us deeply. And this is just great. This also warms my heart immensely. But really, thank you so so very much very kind. And yeah, I'm excited to create more content for everybody.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, it's a good time. And I look forward to even more. So thank you. You know, I think it says Jason, I think this is JC G Jr. 24. That's what I'm thinking. Probably. Okay. Well, thank you.

Jason Connell:

Yes, I like those first two initials a lot.

Sal Rodriguez:

Oh, yeah. Wait a second. Is this you?

Jason Connell:

Are you allowed to leave or not?

Sal Rodriguez:

Are you allowed to leave your own reviews?

Jason Connell:

I would not do that. I would not do that. Alright, so that covers the apple podcast reviews. And now I just want to talk about something that's come out most recently, and we've plug it at the end of all of our episodes, but since it's new and shiny, and we're very proud of it. I just want to talk about the website very briefly.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yes. Just curious. media.com

Jason Connell:

Yes, I had created one initially. And it was great. And then the show started the first show, let's talk Cobra Kai. And then it kinda was dormant. It had a lot of like shows that might be coming shows and development. Initially, just curious media was a concept of mine. And it was like, okay, I'd start with this show. And then I would do this show, and then you get down to it. And you can only tackle one thing at a time. And so it just seemed really outdated. So I kind of swapped it out with my own personal website, which is Mr. Jason connell.com. Just to have it route there because that was more up to date, and had a whole just curious media section. And that was great. Now cut to present day. We've got two shows. The third was about to launch and I just thought it was time south to go back, create a whole new website and put that out there. And that's what we did.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, well, you know, to all our listeners, I don't know if you would be as aware as I am having known Jason for many years and having a friendship and a working relationship with them. He's sort of a perfectionist. You know, if something's good, he wants it to be better. If something's better, he wants it to be the best. The best.

Jason Connell:

Yeah, it all goes back to credit. Get

Sal Rodriguez:

Jason is a stickler for quality. And I want you to listen to my words, because I've been around podcasting for a while I've been in and out of various studios work with various producers and sound engineers over the years. Back when I used to do music, it was no different. Jason is he's different. Jason is big on quality. He's not one of these. It's good enough type of guys. Absolutely not. I'm more of a yeah, good enough. Let's move on. Jason, he wants it to be good. That's the way he is. And so believe me, I'm in good hands. And all of us are in good hands with Jason Connell.

Jason Connell:

Thank you. So I really appreciate that. And it's true. Good to Great. I do like to take it and make it better. You know, I remember being in the editing Bay's of my early documentaries, strictly background comes to mind because that was the first so I tend to reference it the most. But we were all editing. And I was co editor on that movie for over a year. And my co editor and even a technical editor was like, Yeah, I think it's good. And I was like, oh, no, we got more work to do. Six months later, we finished it. And they told me later they go, we thought we were done. We thought we'd reached the end. You're right. It got so much better as we whittled down further, you know, shaved it down tight. And that documentary filmmaking, I felt like you're an archaeologist, and you're just chipping away at something and just finally, uncovering the story. So I've taken that mindset to the podcasting realm. And yeah, I want to make things really tight, and digestible, and entertaining. And I just feel like it's essential and something sell. I guess it's that whole Hitchcockian thing. And not to compare myself to the late great legendary Alfred Hitchcock by no means, but he made movies for the audience. And I always took at least that mindset, if you're making a documentary, like what are they thinking here? Is this too much? I'm never making it just for myself. I also take that frame of mind. And I have that vision for podcasting. Like it's not the self indulgent thing. Sure. We get to ramble on and have a good time. But it's like I am thinking of the listener. And the process.

Sal Rodriguez:

I'm reminded of those old commercials that had Orson Welles. Yeah, we will sell no wine before it's time. That's you.

Jason Connell:

Thank you, sir, as he sips this wine,

Sal Rodriguez:

as I'm drinking one.

Jason Connell:

And so also on the website, I should say, it's really streamline now, it has just the shows that we're currently doing, there is one that's coming soon, because it's so close to coming out. And that's a really cool project, which I'll save for another day. Once an episodes live, we can kind of talk about it to really cool joint venture I'm involved with, but on there, you will see, let's talk Cobra Kai, let's talk movies. That's a crime. Sal, tell them what else they can do on the website,

Sal Rodriguez:

on just curious media.com. You can stream all the shows and all the episodes and join the mailing list. And

Jason Connell:

that's true, you can stream everything there. Because sometimes people are like, I don't know what app to use, they might not be so podcast savvy sounds. So it's like, you could just go on there, you're at your desk or even on your phone, the interface is really easy to click a button, it starts to play. Also on the site, you can click on the podcast itself, that particular podcast you're looking at. And you can see all the platforms and they hyperlink you to them. So if you're like, oh, anyone check out Stitcher, I Heart Radio or Apple podcasts. It's all there in one convenient place. And as we have new episodes, they're immediately published online as well on our website, and Future Show, Sal will absolutely be here. So this is our one stop shop, if you will. Yeah.

Sal Rodriguez:

Well, Jason, I'm guilty of not downloading our show. And just listening straight off the just curious Media website. I know, you tell me download it. So I'm not using my data. But you know what, it still counts, it helps us know, but you know what I was having problems with downloading, like I would download a show whether ours or another show, for some reason. I couldn't play it again. So I just started listening straight off the site. So when I listen to our shows, I'm listening right off of just curious media.com. That's great. That's great.

Jason Connell:

Sounds like a phone problem. If you can't play a downloaded file, but let's talk about that later.

Sal Rodriguez:

I need to go back to iPhone. I think I've been with Samsung, I think you do. But I think I need to go back to iPhone.

Jason Connell:

I think it's time and yes, Sal had mentioned join the mailing list. As we start to engage with our listeners. Maybe it's going to be a monthly review or something. It's great. If you don't want to be part of it. We get it but more engagement. We want to connect with our fans more to something else that we're doing our planning. And lastly, sell and you already mentioned it but we did recently released American Gigolo 1980 on Let's Talk movies. I had Sal Rodriguez on and we covered that movie from head to toe our forensic analysis of the class St. Paul Schrader movie. Of course it has a super young, sexy Richard Gere, and a beautiful Lauren Hutton, and just a wonderful movie. And if you love the backdrop of Los Angeles in the late 70s, early 80s, it's an absolutely must see

Sal Rodriguez:

if you like no traffic.

Jason Connell:

Oh, yes, pre traffic owe us a very free traffic.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, really great movie. I liked it a whole lot more than I thought, you know, of course, I saw the movie when I was young. But as I always say, and now I'm learning when you revisit movies as an adult that maybe you saw when you were young, whole different experience very much. You're a different person now. So you know what, I really enjoyed American Gigolo and definitely recommend it. So be sure to listen to the episode on which I guest along with Jason, as the host of Let's Talk movies. Yes.

Jason Connell:

And again, that's a crime. That's our other show that's gathering some steam some traction. You're the co host, Sal Sal Rodriguez. And we have weekly episodes coming out. And of course sell on that show. We cover what exactly

Sal Rodriguez:

we cover everything from a misdemeanor to a murder.

Jason Connell:

Yes, we do sell. And I think that really gives us the flexibility to do lighter things. Like recently, we had a fun episode come out about a coin thief who pockets $2.4 million? Well, that's a lighter episode. And we can have more fun with it. Because, listen, the murderers of serial killer episodes have their place and we do enjoy doing them. But it's a more somber experience. The tone is different. So I like that, you know, kind of yin and yang that the show allows us to do?

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, especially when you have things that could be considered a victimless crime. I mean, if you're stealing money out of a turnstile change machines, you know, public transit, yeah, nobody died, no one was hurt. And then the guy gets caught. So really, it's a if you're anti crime, there's a happy ending.

Jason Connell:

Yeah. And there's a lot more fun episodes to go. So please do check that out. And of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't kind of circle back around to this show in itself. This is let's talk Cobra Kai. And now I know we're on a hiatus. So I kind of feel like oh, there's nothing new of course, most recently, Netflix dropped the teaser trailer for season four. And we had a quick episode that we did and remind us all where you were.

Sal Rodriguez:

Yeah, I called into our show. Live on the scene in front of the original Cobra Kai Dojo on Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood. I was there, man. And so check out our recent promo for season four based on the recent release by Netflix teasing season four. And yeah, we did a little fun episode, where I was right outside the dojo and believe me when I do these things, when you listen to our show, and I'm outside of the dojo, I'm there when I called before I was outside of the South Seas in receita. On saticoy I was there we are not just messing around here. Everything we do is genuine. When we tell crazy stories, they go all over the place and then come right back around to Cobra Kai or Karate Kid. It's all true.

Jason Connell:

It's true. Yeah, you sent me photo proof that day I couldn't believe how different that place looks. And when we wrap the call, I was like hey should go in there but you wound up going in or getting close to

Sal Rodriguez:

it. No, no, I just took pictures from the outside I call okay. I was not emotionally prepared to walk into what was formerly the Cobra Kai dojo and see at some sort of spiritual store now I love spiritual stores. There used to be a wonderful store in Sherman Oaks on the trouble of are called psychic i where they have all kinds of neat jewelry and all kinds of occult books and stuff like that. So this is kind of like that with the incense and the silver jewelry and the gemstones, wonderful things, nothing against the store. But I mean, Cobra Kai has my heart so I'm just not ready to it could have been a church I wouldn't have walked in. I'm just not ready for that yet. So at some point, as I said before, when they finally dropped season four, I may take another visit to Lankershim and walk into that building itself.

Jason Connell:

Well, very good. And listen, I'm sure Netflix is going to be releasing more fun things that we can tackle. And now that we're back into it, Sal, look for more special episodes as we lead up to season four. There's a lot more fun stuff for us to explore. You know, like Johnny Lawrence popping up in a commercial William Zabka. Or I believe there was a Goldbergs that had Martin COVID Since a crease in it. So fans have sent us things things that weren't on our radar. So sound I are just starting to get back in the flow and look out for more fun episodes to be dropping.

Sal Rodriguez:

Well, and how about this? The Next Karate Kid?

Jason Connell:

Oh, yes, that

Sal Rodriguez:

is gonna be coming on

Jason Connell:

radar. Yes, you still haven't seen it?

Sal Rodriguez:

I haven't. I feel so stupid. I know. I have not seen The Next Karate Kid yet, but it's a must. It's one of those. It's gonna happen. I'm gonna watch it. We're gonna do our show on it. It's bound to happen.

Jason Connell:
